Homeopathic drug trials (HAMP)
Drug trials in the MMPP
The MMPP aims to revise over 600 remedies, i.e. to collect all available drug trials, toxicological reports and case histories from the literature, review them, present them clearly and compile a genius. The most important source is, of course, the most comprehensive drug trials possible.
When working on Passiflora incarnata in 2011, there were over 50 case reports in the homeopathic literature, but only one proving by Felizitas Perz and Barbara Ackerl from 2003. The cases showed cures that could not be proven by provings. This was perceived as a major shortcoming and so the idea of conducting remedy provings within the MMPP was born. Passiflora was the first remedy to be tested in the MMPP.
After some discussion, it was decided to carry out drug provings in the same way as Hahnemann did. Sections 105 to 141 are our guidelines and basis. Instructions for provers have been drawn up.
In the meantime, a number of remedies have been tested and most of them have produced very good results. Almost all the remedies that have been tested were previously untested or insufficiently tested.
The test protocol of Passiflora incarnata can be downloaded free of charge.
The proving instructions contain the guidelines according to which the homeopathic provings are carried out.
